As for the Anthoiogy which will be published at the end of the year to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Umbrella, I am going to insert 20 artist pages within the center of the Anthology, so if any of you want to send me a page which can be reproduced in black and white and continues with the theme of Umbrella and 20th Anniversary, or the themes therein, please send it along by 30 September for possible inclusion. There are some artists who are being commissioned to da a page as well. This issue is dedicated to a friend, who died suddenly, in fact, right after I gave him a party for his friends, a kind of reunion in Los Angeles for someone who has been living in South Milwaukee. His name, Jerry Dreva. Jerry was not supposed to die, because he was so full of energy, a hyperactive energy that overwhelmed you when you met him 20 or more years ago. He was a mail artist, but had been longer than most people, starting as a young man. In fact, the correspondence art collections of Gronk and Jerry Dreva opened up the alternative space, LACE (Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions) in downtown Los Angeles so many years ago.
